Renovation of a fire / police facility in Appomattox, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and 2,600-square-foot fire / police facility.

**As of April 5, 2022, this project has been cancelled for good.** Work Location: Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia State Police; Area Office 21, 240 Third Division Loop, Appomattox, Virginia 24522 Due to the importance of all Bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications/scope of work and requirements for this solicitation, attendance at this conference will be a prerequisite for submitting a Bid. Attendance at the conference will be evidenced by the representatives signature on the attendance roster at the location where the work will be performed. This date and time will be the only occasion that the facility will be accessible for inspection. Contractor shall provide all shop, labor, materials, equipment and supervision sufficient to remove floor covering and cove base from ten rooms with approximately 2,600 square feet of floor space. Furnish and install approximately 2,600 square feet of new commercial grade/high modular 2'x2' carpet and cove base as required. The Contractor is responsible for taking/verifying all measurement at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit. Contractor shall be responsible for moving/relocating existing furniture and cabinets to accommodate work. VSP will be responsible for relocating "IT" equipment. Contractor shall minimize impact of work on normal day-to-day VSP facility operations through close coordination of the work with 1st. Sergeant.
