The bid opening will be held in the Wallace Building, Conference Room 2. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, tile installation, inlet and outlet water control structures, and seeding. This project includes around 8,900 cubic yards of earthwork, 5,750 linear feet of tile installation, 50 tons of crushed stone, and 14.5 acres of seeding. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $170,000 to $200,000. Bidders who attend and sign-in to the pre-bid conference will be added to the plan holders list. Printed copies of specifications and plans will be provided to the successful bidder. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
