Contracting Firms with demonstrable experience in providing Construction Management Services are invited to submit a proposal for Construction Management Services for the Wells Community Building. The successful proponent will be working with staff of the town of Rothesay, Acre Architects and their team of Engineering Consultants. Your services will be required during both the design phase and the construction phase, to create a facility that meets the functional, aesthetic and budgetary requirements of the town of Rothesay. The Wells Recreation Park, located at 75 French Village Road, Rothesay lacks an adequate building to support its recreational activities and the Wells Community lacks a meeting space. Rothesay Council wishes to address these deficiencies by commissioning an appropriate building to serve these needs. Construction is anticipated to commence in July 2022 and be substantially complete to permit occupancy in April 2023. The construction budget for the building is $1,500,000.00 plus HST. Rothesay has been able to secure funding from the other orders of Government, which in turn drives an aggressive construction schedule. The project outline package is attached for your information. The Schematic Design Phase of the project is underway. The Design Development Phase and the Construction Document Phase are to be complete by August 2022 for the initial tender of items such as preorder of equipment, site works and foundation with other phases to follow.
