The Procurement Office of the Town of Barnstable on behalf of Barnstable Public Schools is soliciting responses from qualified individuals or firms to assist the District with conducting a Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) and Long-Range Facilities Planning of the facilities as indicated in the RFP. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, and all contracts must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Proposal. The Town has no discretion under the law to consider proposals that fail to comply with those requirements, except for minor informalities as permitted by MGL Chapter 30B Section 5(f). If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request. The Contract will be awarded within 60 days. The opening of the responses is not public. All responses must be received in a sealed envelope properly marked prior to the deadline. An interview may be conducted with any proposer who is deemed Highly Advantageous or Advantageous during the evaluation of the proposals. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals when it deems it to be in the best interest of the Town. No pre-response meeting. Last day to submit questions is 3/17/2022 by 12 noon.
