Site work for a mixed-use development in Olivette, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
The Metropolitan Sewer District is abandoning the sanitary main that the current Indian Meadows Park (IMP) rest room lateral connects to as part of the Price to Pioneer Sanitary Relief Project. The City of Olivette is requesting proposals to construct a new lateral to the MSD sanitary main along Huron Drive. The awarded contractor will construct the new lateral with 6" schedule 40 PVC pipe from the existing clean out south to the main approximately 160ft. The existing outgoing pipe is to be capped. The depth at the existing clean out is 3'6" deep and the MSD main is 15' 8' deep. The ground profile varies across the site. The contractor is to include 1 T type access and 1 property line T type access with tracer installed to MSD details. Failure to obtain a final inspection within 45 days after the permit is issued manner may result in cancellation of the contract. This work shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform all operations for the installation of a new 6 schedule 40 PVC lateral from the existing clean out south to the MSD sanitary main at Huron Drive. Alternate 1 include water and sewer piping for a future water station. All work shall be in accordance with the requirements, St. Louis County Plumbing code, the applicable drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of these guidelines. Contractor shall complete all work.
