It is the intention of OMH that this solicitation will result in a one-time purchase agreement, awarded to the lowest bidder in response the IFB, for the purchase of new equipment and associated components, removal of the existing equipment, and the installation of the new equipment. Any all questions from site visit attendees are to be submitted in writing to the OMH Bureau of Procurement Enterprise Services (BPES) per the IFB instructions by Thursday, March 10, 2022 by 3:00 pm ET. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 16% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 14% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Contract term: Two months Contractor shall: Replace six (6) existing condensing units with six (6) new Trenton TX cooled units equipped with Copeland compressors; Replace six (6) existing evaporators with six (6) new Trenton evaporators with ESP controls; Replace existing liquid lines with four (4) new line sets & re-insulate new line sets; Replace existing fluid cooler with one (1) new Trenton 3-fan rooftop mount fluid cooler, including replacement of existing 208-volt main electrical disconnect. Project is to be completed in four (4) phases following in direct & timely succession, to be coordinated with facility, so as not to disrupt kitchen functions & patient care. Contractor will be responsible for removal & proper disposal of the old equipment and for installation of the new equipment including rigging. Contractor will be responsible for installation of compressor, fluid cooler, line sets, insulation, electrical terminations, refrigerant charge, start-up & system testing. Contractor will be responsible for removal of glycol & installation of new piping; replacement of one (1) existing Taco inline circulation pump with one (1) new Taco pump unit (per specs below), including piping from the air scoop to the discharge side of piping; and refill of glycol system vent to get the system back up & operational
