Bastrop Trinity Investors, LLC, its successors and assigns, (the Owner) on behalf of Elgin MUD No. 2 invites the submission of sealed Bids from qualified bidders for: Elgin MUD No. 2, Trinity Ranch Phase 1 Section 2 "Paving, Drainage, Water & Wastewater Improvements" The work shall consist of the following: Reinforced Concrete Pipe Including Approximately 18"- 48" Pipe, Headwalls and Appurtenances; Water Piping consisting of 8"-12" PVC Mains and Appurtenances; Gravity Wastewater Piping consisting of 8"-15" PVC Pipe and Appurtenances; Water Quality and Detention Pond; Excavation, Embankment, and Paving; Sedimentation & Erosion Control; and Various Other Site Improvements. A Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or acceptable Bidder's Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required as stated in the Contract Documents. All questions pertaining to the bid must be submitted at least seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening Electronically The prices and terms of the bid must be made on the forms included in the Contract Documents. A Bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, deviates significantly from the Contract Documents, and which has not been clarified through a written Addendum prior to Bid submittal deadline, shall be considered an exception to the Contract Documents and grounds for the Bid to be rejected. Bidders should read and understand all terms and conditions contained in these Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest and best Bid as deemed by the Owner, or reject any and/or all Bids. The Owner may request qualification information including references, bonding, insurance and other information for use in determining the lowest and best Bid.
