Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Williamsburg, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 20,000-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Demolition of 16 Main Street, the former Helen E. James School building. The work consists of the demolition of 16 Main Street, the former Helen E. James School building. The building is 3 stories and consists of approximately 20,000 square feet of floor area including the basement. The scope includes hazardous materials abatement throughout. Refer to the attached documents provided by ATLAS Environmental regarding identified hazmat material and removal specifications. Also related scope includes but is not limited to; pre-demolition conditions survey, make safe, cut and cap of all utilities, demo of the existing solar roof panels, exterior stair, entrance pads, vegetation against the building, tree and stump removal, excavation, demo and removal of basement foundations, slab, elevator pit, shaft, and footings. Backfill material and labor will be provided by others. Refer to the attached Site Plan for tree and stump removal scope.
