The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction is soliciting formal, competitive, sealed bids from Contractors licensed to work in the jurisdiction for the project listed below. SCOPE OF WORK: Base Bid: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to construct a shade structure on grade to accommodate two grills, electrical installation, concrete sidewalk to proposed shade structure and ADA access around all sides of the structure per the contract documents. Builder's Risk Insurance is required for this project and must be included in bid price. Note: Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP's Bureau of Design and Construction. If not pre-qualified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid. Pursuant to Executive Order 07-126 and Section 255.252(3), F.S. the Department requires the proposed project be designed and constructed in accordance with green building standards where applicable. The Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the State of Florida.
