Complete construction and scope of the design-build services to construct a 1000 square foot pass-through splash pad with multiple above-ground features, and in-ground spray features. The proposals require the following: PHASE #1 Design intent: Design and install a 1000-square foot splash pad • In-grade spray features to include various types of nozzles for play activities for all ages and abilities • Above-grade features to encourage interactivities for all ages and abilities • Approximately 100 GPM or less before sequencing • Electrical activator system with sequencing capabilities Spray features: • Above-ground spray features must be 304L stainless steel • Above-grade spray features must-have anchor base system (Epoxy, resin, or bolt systems will not be accepted) • In-grade nozzles should be stainless steel or bronze (PVC nozzles will not be accepted) • In-grade nozzle canisters shall be stainless steel or bronze (PVC will not be accepted) Concrete: • 3500 PSI after 28-day cure time • 5” to 6” broom finish concrete • Bonding of reinforcement rebar or mesh is required • Use #4 rebar 12 on center - or - W6 mesh 4” on center - or- W10 mesh 6” on center • Raise rebar or mesh with saddles 2.5” to 3” • If pouring splash pad areas at different times each slab should be joined together using rebar that should be bonded to the reinforcement grid on both slabs • Splashpad deck and 5’ outer dry area should be sloped 2% toward drain (approximately ¼” to 12” slope) • The designated splash pad shall include a 5’ overspray outside the splash zone Must be designed for 16parking areas and meet the town of Dundee specs and be ADA compliant. This parking lot should have 1 entrance and 1 exit as seen on the EXHIBIT A. This Must Be Included in the Drawings along with spacing and widths and lengths. All signage and markings must be included in the bid PHASE #2 Restroom design must include a price to supply/install a 480-square foot his/her prefabricated restrooms: • Restrooms must meet ADA appliance and all applicable requirements • Must be equipped with stainless steel sink, toilets • Restrooms must have their own power box • Septic tank (will need to supply and install) contractor will be responsible to pull the permit • 2 standalone outside showers with stainless steel fixtures (these must be shown on drawings for the project) Questions shall be submitted in writing to the Town Clerk until 4:30 pm on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
