The work for which bids are asked includes the following: The Village of Cottage Grove is completing a reconstruction of Clark Street and Grove Street within the Village. The reconstruction will include urbanizing of a majority of the roadway with concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks. The roadway will be expanded to include additional parking along the roadway. Storm sewer improvements and a water main extension is included within the project. Additional areas of work include pulverizing of roadways and relaying asphalt pavement and culvert replacements. Stormwater facilities are included along with restoration throughout the project. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages.
