Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The intent and scope of this Contract consists of various improvements at three intersections in order to make the necessary geometric changes to accommodate the conversion of North 8th, North 10th and North 11th Streets to 2-Way traffic in August of 2022. The project includes pavement removal, curb and gutter removal, grading, graveling, doweled and plain concrete pavement, concrete curb and gutter, H.M.A. pavement, storm sewer removals and install, lawn restoration, traffic signal modifications, and pavement markings. There is a Type 13 signal pole with a 45-foot signal arm and a 15-foot lighting arm being supplied by the City for the intersection of North 8th Street and Waldo Boulevard. Therefore, the Contractor will be required to coordinate work with the City in order to complete that intersection on time. It is anticipated the pole and arms will be shipped on June 24, 2022. The Contractor shall not be subject to the liquidated damages for North 8th and Waldo Blvd. if the necessary traffic signal components (pole and arms) are not received by the City as anticipated. However, the Contractor shall be liable to complete the remainder of the work at N. 8th and Waldo Blvd. by July 1, 2022.
