The Columbia County School District, 4781 Hereford Farm Road, Evans, Georgia 30809 (CCSD) is soliciting formal sealed bids from qualified companies to perform cooler and freezer dry-in work to four CCSD locations for Bid number HC-03-22-22A. This is to include all diamond plate flooring, rolled embossed metal, 4x8 insulation board, cork tape, butyl rubber, and food grade silicone. Contractor will provide all tools, labor, proper screws to complete the job, 12 gauge stainless steel thresholds contoured to fit each of the cooler and freezer boxes. All metal, insulation cuts and bending will be done by the contractor. All sealing of the boxes with butyl rubber and silicone will be completed by the contractor. The CCSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any bid deemed most advantageous to the CCSD and to waive any informalities in the request. Schedule and Validity ColumbiaCounty School District Business Department Award to be on or before April 1, 2022. Work can be performed in June and July, schools must be completed before July 24. Work can be performed November 21-25 and schools must be completed before the morning of November 28. Work can be performed December 21-31 and schools must be completed before the morning of January 4, 2023. o Seal each seam of original flooring with butyl rubber. Install new diamond plate flooring on top of original flooring. Ensure metal edges are cut to ensure minimum gaps between the metal. Secure flooring with beveled stainless steel screws. Top ofscrews must be level with flooring. o Seal all wall and ceiling seams with butyl rubber. o Seal all corner seams top and bottom with butyl rubber o Seal all upper and lower outer seams with 2x2 insulation board covered with embossed metal to fit the 2x2 insulation board and 1" lip to secure with screws. o Cover all wall seams with cork insulation. o Cover all wall seams with embossed metal, bent to fit, and with al" lip to fasten to wall with screws. o Silicone and seal all new installed metal o Install and seal a new 12 gauge threshold for each cooler and freezer door. Screws must be flush with top of metal. Please not to damage any heater installed around door.
