Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; pipeline; and pipeline.
The Project consists of a Precast Concrete control structure, (2) slide gates, 20''of 80" IPS PE pipe and 263' of 12" dual wall PE pipe. Bids will be received for a prime Contractor on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents may be viewed and ordered online via email with the Issuing Office at the email address listed above Complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's Dropbox link as portable document format (PDF) files. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Contractor and Sub Contractors shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as found by the Dept. of Labor or as determined by the Court of Appeal, to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
