The work for this project was completed with internal resources. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* Introduction The Town of Meredith is located at the heart of the Lakes Region in New Hampshire. The Town surrounds Meredith Bay, a protected bay at the northwest corner of Lake Winnipesaukee. The Town is home to approximately 6,500 year-round residents. The summertime population grows to over 15,000 residents. The Meredith Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for maintaining approximately 272 acres of facilities which includes 6 parks, 5 ball fields, 6 tennis courts, 2 beaches, 1 Community Center, several hiking trails, 2 outdoor skating rinks, and 5 seasonal buildings. The existing Swasey Park is located on High Street in Meredith Village, within close proximity and comfortable walking distance from Main Street. It encompasses 7 acres and includes 6 trails totaling approximately 1 mile. The park offers a waterfront canoe and kayak landing on historic Waukegan Canal. It is a quiet place to enjoy nature and enjoy a picnic lunch. Picnic tables and benches are located along the trails.
