The Willamette Water Supply System Commission (WWSS Commission) is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the construction of the Willamette Water Supply Program (WWSP) section MPE_1.3 pipeline. Only prime contractors that have been prequalified prior to this advertisement WWSP Pipeline Construction Contractor Prequalification, are eligible to submit a bid in response to this ITB. Interested subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged to contact the prime contractors directly for subcontracting opportunities. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with ITB documents and must be accompanied by a certified Bid Bond executed in favor of the Owner in an amount not less than ten (10) percent of the Base Bid total. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the contract as prescribed in the ITB. The Work is located in Washington County, Oregon. Bidders shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment for the Work. The Work will be described in the bid documents as complete installation of approximately 17,700 linear feet of 48-inch welded steel water pipeline on SW Scholls Ferry Road from SW Roy Rogers Road to Greenway Park just west of SW Nimbus Avenue. The work to be performed is for a Public Work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 and the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148). WWSS Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, or to cancel this solicitation at any time if deemed to be in the best interest of the WWSS Commission.
