This is a request for proposals for the installation of a playground with accompanying edging, surfacing and pathway at Boles Park, Parcel #054 009, 5.85 acres belonging to the City of Richmond Hill on Harris trail Rd. Vendors are required to submit written proposals that present the vendor's qualifications and understanding of the work to be performed. The vendors proposal should be prepared simply and economically and should provide all the information it considers pertinent to its qualifications for the Specifications listed herein. Emphasis should be placed on completeness of services offered and clarity of content. The buildable area is behind the existing fountain and pavilion and consists of roughly 9,500 sq feet surrounded by established trees. It is essential that no equipment or associated improvements encroach within the canopy/dripline of any live oaks with the exception of a surfaced pathway from the designated ADA parking to the play area. Product must be durable and be suited for play from large numbers of children of varying ages. Warranty will be an important factor in the acceptance of the winning proposal. No overly complicated mechanical elements which require frequent or expensive repair work will be considered. The park area is surrounded by established and on fairly wet ground for much of the year. Dark colors and elements that help the equipment appear new and clean longer are much appreciated. Power and water are not immediately available on the site and will be the responsibility of the contractor. Contractor must provide with their submittal copies of all applicable insurance and certifications regarding playground equipment installation.
