ADVERTISMENT FOR BIDS Village of Weston Marathon County, Wisconsin OWNER: The Village of Weston, Marathon County, Wisconsin hereby give notice that sealed bids will be received at the Weston Municipal Center at 5500 Schofield Avenue, Weston, WI 54476, not later than 8:20 a.m. local time on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following project in the Village of Weston. PROJECT: 2022 Asphalt Overlay Project DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents are on file and may be examined at the Weston Municipal Center. BIDDERS PRE-QUALIFICATIONS: Prequalification statement forms for this project must be submitted to the Village by 4 p.m. local time Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022. These forms must show sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the Contract in accordance with Section 66.0901(2) Wisconsin Statutes. The Village of Weston's decision as to the qualifications shall be final. BID GUARANTEE: Proposals shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum bid price, payable to the Village of Weston as a guarantee that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, will execute and file the proposed contract and bonds within 15 days of the award of the contract. The certified check is returnable to the bidder immediately after signing the contract, and acceptance by the Village of Weston of the bonds. A Performance Bond, and also a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, in the amount of 100% of the total bid price, together with the executed contract in the form prescribed by the Village of Weston will be required by the successful bidder. BID REJECTION: The Village of Weston reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner.
