Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) is seeking the services of experienced industrial contractors that possess technical expertise in the inspection, sediment removal, and repair/rehabilitation of water treatment and wastewater treatment storage tanks. CCUA intends to award three (3) continuing service contracts for the work. At its sole discretion, CCUA may decide to increase the number of awarded contracts to four (4) if the numerical score of the fourth ranked firm is within 1% of the third ranked firm. Each contract will be for a three (3) year period (36 months from signature date unless terminated by CCUA). The term of the contract may be renewed for up to two (2) additional 1-year periods and contingent upon satisfactory performance by the Contractor and with mutual written agreement by both parties and the availability of funds. (EST) Board of Supervisors Meeting Tuesday, May 3, 2022, 2:00 P.M (EST) Issue Notice of Intent to Award Wednesday, May 4, 2022 Unless a different liquidated damage amount for a particular project is established, the Contractor shall pay CCUA $500 per day, for each calendar day of unexcused delay in achieving Substantial Completion of the Work beyond the date specified by Supplemental Agreement or Purchase Order for Substantial Completion of the Work. The right is reserved by CCUA at its discretion to reject any or all proposals or parts thereof. Proposals may be rejected if they show any omission, alteration of form, additions or deductions not called for, conditional or uninvited alternate proposals, or irregularities of any kind; however, the Authority also reserves the right to waive any informality on proposals.
