Demolition of a mobile home located at 3685 County Rd 215 Middleburg, FL 32068 The Clay County Board of County Commissioners (County) are seeking a qualified Florida licensed Contractor, to perform demolition services to demolish the Mobile Home and return site to match existing lot. The building is approximately 2,700 square feet and is located at 3685 County Rd 215, Middleburg, FL 32068. The point of contact for this project will be the County Construction Manager. Work includes but not limited to, obtaining all locates & permits and providing all materials, labor, inspections and equipment not specified in the scope of work necessary to complete the following: o Mobilization, work site barrier, site preparation, safety measures, structural integration and all incidental work needed to complete the contracted work. o A Storm Water pollution prevention plan (BMP'S) must be utilized. o The Contractor shall demolish and remove the complete structure to grade including garage, porches and walkways. o The Contractor shall remove all slabs, sheds, power poles, satellite poles, fencing, fire pits. o The Contractor shall protect and retain the pump house and well, if damaged it will be the Contractor's responsibility to repair or replace. o The Contractor shall remove all debris from the site and dispose of appropriately at Contractor's expense. o The Contractor shall restore building pad area to natural grade filling in low spots, if needed to make it level using a County approved A3 fill. o The Contractor shall remove all chain link fencing surrounding the perimeter of the project. o The Contractor must return work site (loading areas, truck routes on property, staging area, etc.) to match surrounding conditions which include purchase and placement of fill dirt and sod in demolition site to match surrounding area. o Burning of debris is not permitted. o The Contractor must be prepared to secure site due to inclement weather or an emergency. o The Contractor will be restricted to work area and access road. Liquidated Damages: The Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages (LD) of $100.00 for each day past final completion date set by the Contract Cancellation of Contract: If the awarded Contractor fails to maintain acceptable product quality or to perform adequately in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications established in this Request for Bid, the County reserves the right to cancel the Contract upon thirty (30) days written notice to the Contractor.
