Site work for a mixed-use development in Terrace, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Full recoating of the 343m bridge and structure steelwork repairs. Specifically, the major components include: full bridge closure and traffic detour, including accommodation of local pedestrian access to the riverbed; rehabilitation and/or replacement of selected structure steel members and connections; full bridge recoating of the superstructure; miscellaneous concrete repairs at Piers 1A and 7; replacement of a steel cap beam at Pier 7; and installation of pedestrian passing extensions along the existing sidewalk. The Site is located on Lakelse Avenue (Old Highway 16) spanning over the Skeena River in Terrace, BC, approximately 650 m north of the junction of Highway 16 and Highway 37.
