The City of Moncton requires the services of an established, experienced roofing maintenance firm to complete preventative maintenance and minor repairs (on an "as required" basis) to the roofing systems of various facilities owned and / or maintained by the municipality. The City is also seeking pricing for inspections and reporting on existing roof conditions, completing leak investigations, and carrying out Quality Assurance inspections ELIGIBILITY OF SUPPLIERS: Suppliers considered eligible to bid shall have been in business not less than five (5) years, are members in good standing of the New Brunswick Roofing Contractors Association, are knowledgeable with respect to roofing system-related ASTM and NRC protocols and standards, can provide a minimum of five (5) commercial references, and have experienced staff and sufficient equipment available to respond to the City's needs. PROPOSED CONTRACT TERM: The proposed term of the agreement is for three (3) year period, commencing from the date of award. The City may exercise an option to renew the agreement for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods, if it is in the City's best interest to do so. ESTIMATED HOURS OF WORK / ANNUAL CONTRACT DOLLAR VALUE: The estimated value of the Roof Maintenance Services required under the scope of the proposed agreement is approximately $200,000.00 per year (including H.S.T. @ 15%), based on an average of the total dollars expended during 2019 and 2020. However, this should NOT be construed as representing a guaranteed annual Contract value.
