Project no- 25000.207_0002 Seismic retrofit Online Q&A No Portland Public Schools, School District No.1J, Multnomah County, Oregon ( District ) seeks responses from qualified Bidders interested in submitting a Bid for seismic upgrades at Creative Science School in SE Portland. The seismic upgrades are to be completed as part of the Oregon Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program (SRGP). The Creative Science SRGP Project is to perform a full interior seismic upgrade to Creative Science School in SE Portland. Construction for the project will be phased over two summers (2022 and 2023). The work includes but is not limited to: Interior work o Seismic bracing of existing unreinforced brick walls with metal stud framing, HHS columns and beams, and plywood sheathing, o New footings and hold-downs below new framed walls and HSS columns. o Gym bathroom reconfiguration o New finishes related to seismic bracing and bathroom reconfiguration. o Mechanical, electrical and lighting modifications related to seismic bracing and bathroom reconfiguration. o Seismic bracing of mechanical, electrical and plumbing and lighting. o Hazardous material abatement Exterior work o New windows and solid infill walls with metal panel siding to replace glass block at gym and cafeteria clearstory. o New exterior doors to replace existing in same location at north gym elevation. o Premises Isolator-Reduced Pressure Backflow Assembly in above ground enclosure at west property line
