Summary of Work: The work consists of partial demolition of an existing apparatus bay designed with post tension cables to be partially removed and installation of new PT cables to be aligned with existing. A Bidders Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified Cashiers Check, (Bid Security) payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted via a sealed envelope as a guaranty that if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of McAllen. The Bidders bid security shall be submitted before the above-mentioned electronic bid opening date and time. Failure to submit the bid security shall be grounds for disqualification.
