Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ravenna, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed work under this Contract consists of asphalt milling and paving, chip seal interlayer, sidewalk replacement and associated work items. The estimated cost for this project is $582,000. The electronic bids can only be submitted through Bid Express and must be electronically endorsed by the Bidder. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid surety furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety in an amount as allowed by Treasury Circular 570. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of the bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. Bidders must comply with the Federal Wage rates on Public Improvements as determined by the Federal Wage and Hour Division, 866-487-9243. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Award will be based on best low bidder.
