Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
Houston First Corporation ("HFC") requests bids from qualified contractors for the second of three phases in the replacement of the Wortham Theater Center Theatrical Dimming Systems. The subject dimming system includes six dimmer racks and dimmers for the Brown Theater located in the 7th Floor dimmer room. The dimming systems were installed in 1986 and have reached the end of their useful life, as suitable replacement parts are no longer available Any questions concerning this Invitation to Bid must be submitted by email to bids@houstonfirst.com no later than 10:00 a.m. on March 21, 2022. Material questions will be answered collectively in one or more Letter(s) of Clarification to be made available at website. Questions received may be edited or combined for clarity or length at the discretion of HFC. On-site work is to begin on June 27, 2022. The contractor selected is to achieve substantial completion by August 5, 2022 and complete the project no later than August 26, 2022.
