The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking quotes for Hot Mix Asphalt products (HMA) Class 3/8 in. Asphalt with no recycled pavement material (RPM) added, under the authority of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 39.26. The term of this contract will be in the Yakima County Area, May 1, 2022 until October 31, 2022. (End date is dependent on the plant being open to public this late in the season.) WSDOT estimates 200 tons of HMA product, as funding allows, actual quantity may be less than or greater that the estimated quantity. WSDOT reserves the right to modify dates and times. Any changes will be sent electronically as amendments to all users of Washington's Electronic Business Solutions (WEBS) who downloaded this RFQ. Question Period Ends - Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, 4:00 pm Answers Provided - Friday, March 4th, 2022, 4:00 pm Award announced and purchase order sent to vendor - Monday, March 14th, 2022 WSDOT reserves the right to: (1) Waive any informality; (2) Reject any or all quotes, or portions thereof; (3) Accept any portion of the items quote unless the Bidder stipulates all or nothing in their quote; (4) Cancel an RFQ and re-solicit quotes; (5) Negotiate with the lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder to determine if that quote can be improved for the Purchaser; (6) Award on an all or none consolidated basis taking into consideration lifecycle costs; and (7) Award in aggregate when in the best interest of the state.
