The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for the complete design and construction (designbuild) of a new Working Chute Facility to support the BLM Wild Horse and Burro program in Rock Springs, WY. The facility will also include associated site elements such as holding pens, fences, gates, chutes, working area, and veterinarian storage. A package which includes schematic design drawings and performance specifications for the building and associated site work has been prepared by the BLM National Operations Center A&E Branch in Denver, CO and shall be used as the basis of design. The BLM will issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside competitive design-build solicitation in April 2022. The BLM anticipates issuing a single firm fixed price award from this solicitation. Davis Bacon Act (DBA) is applicable and the appropriate DBA Wage Determination will be included in the solicitation. The competitive solicitation, 140L0622R0008, is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. All materials must be in accordance with the Buy American Act. This acquisition will use two-phase design-build selection procedures in accordance with FAR 36.3. A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation package will be available electronically via www.sam.gov.
