Demolition, site work, paving and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Marion, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a medical facility; for asbestos abatement for a medical facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work will include the demolition of Building 50 and the removal of debris from the station. This will include asbestos and equipment abatement, removal of foundation 24" below basement grade, walls, floor slabs, dirt floors, crawl spaces, debris, and utilities, installation of new asphalt, curbs, sidewalk, signage, and line stripping. The schedule for this project is from July 27, 2022 through December 04, 2022. The preliminary estimate for this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. This is a prevailing wage project subject to the Davis-Bacon Act for calendar year 2021 for contracts awarded on or after January 1, 2015.
