Site work for a municipal facility in Kansas City, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
This Request for Proposal (RFP#928) is for the installation of 7 drilled shaft reinforced steel pole foundations located in southeast Kansas City, Kansas. Scope includes the installation of concrete foundations. The Proposer shall be responsible for off-site staging locations of equipment as needed. The Proposer will be responsible for supplying all equipment to install the foundations, including rebar, anchor bolts and concrete. Proposer will be responsible for picking up and transporting to structure locations the various anchor bolt cages that will be located at a BPU facility in Kansas City, Kansas. The TAPP anchor bolt cage drawings included are "For Approval" they are not the final approved set. Proposer will be responsible to setup equipment and provide any pad construction to support any installation requirements. Proposer will be responsible to coordinate with BPU any requirements involved with making the overhead electrical system safe for working around. Proposer will be responsible for the removal of all spoil from shaft excavation and transport to an offsite disposal area. Structure locations along the routes of both lines will be staked for viewing by Proposers by the pre-bid meeting. Proposer will be responsible to coordinating street lane closures with the Kansas City Public Works Department and meet all safety requirements (Traffic Control) during lane closures.
