Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rio Dell, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of Rio Dell is seeking bids from responsive and responsible contractors to conduct grinding, leveling courses, installation of a manhole, maintenance overlays, ADA sidewalk transitions and resetting of utilities on multiple streets. A "Class-A" license issued by the State of California is required for this project. Bidder agrees to complete the project on or before a date specified in a signed contract. The City desires to complete this project as soon as possible, preferably by June 30, 2022 and no later than September 15, 2022. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF QUESTIONS March 18, 2022 @ 5:00pm Email: knoppk@cityofriodell.ca.gov CITY RESPSONSE TO QUESTIONS DUE DATE March 22, 2022 @ 10:00am The project is expected to be awarded on or around April 20, 2022. CONTRACT START DATE After April 1, 2022 Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than 10 percent of the amount bid. Successful bidders will be required to furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price. The City may accept or reject any or all Bids in whole or in part and may waive informalities in the process. The contents of the Bid of the selected bid will become the basis for a contractual obligation when the award is made.
