Contractor shall do all work, attend all meetings, and carry out all activities necessary to complete all services described in SPECIAL PROVISIONS section of this document. This Contract and its exhibits, attached or incorporated by reference, shall be known as the "Contract Documents." The Contractor enters into this contract as an independent contractor and not as an employee of the City. The services are to commence upon execution and receipt of this Contract and shall be completed in a prompt and timely manner in accordance with the conditions of the Contract. The City intends to award a contract for work which includes the demolition, abatement, and disposal of all demolition/hazardous materials. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals and performing all work required to complete the contract. For the purpose of obtaining Inspection & Abatement Warrants, a minimum of 5 working days' notice, prior to abatement of each property, the contractor is required to notify the project manager of the start date for said abatement. Each property shall be bid and documented separately while also including an overall bid amount.
