Renovation of a municipal facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of August 19, 2022, no bids were received for this project and it has been cancelled. At this time, it has not been confirmed if the project will be rebid. The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the City Hall Suite 117 Renovation project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to selective demolition, asbestos abatement, interior construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection per Moseley Architects plans and specifications; 'City of Richmond Credit Union and Community Resource Center'. The undersigned further agrees to complete the work as bid within 180 consecutive calendar days after Notice to Proceed. As the time allotted for the completion of the Work is of the essence, if the work is not completed within specified time for the completion of the Work, there shall be deducted from the contract price, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages, $500.00 for each and every calendar day of delay in the completion of the work beyond the time specified, subject to all the terms of the General Conditions.
