Site work for a water / sewer project in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of the sanitary sewer on High Street. The scope of work includes installation of 330 LF sanitary sewer, 1 manhole, 24 lateral connections (approximately 60 dwellings) and the restoration of any disturbed areas. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Sharon Hill. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements, as noted in the bid documents, including but not limited to the Federal Labor and Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon and related acts, various insurance requirements, Section 3 Certification, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. All contractors shall comply with the provisions of the Borough of Sharon Hill Ordinance No. 1323, which establishes minimum standards of Contractor responsibility and eligibility. The Contractor shall submit a Contractor Responsibility Certification with the bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality in the bids, as they deem for the best interest of the Borough.
