Site work for a water / sewer project in Carson City, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Site Directions: 536 Snyder Avenue, Carson City, Nevada This project will perform the following upgrades to the existing irrigation system at the Stewart Facility. 1. Installation of a 20 foot by 8 foot by 8.5 foot steel Conex building to house irrigation equipment at the existing irrigation well location. Work at this location will also include installation of a rip rap drainage basin and underground piping and electrical connections. The proposed building will be located inside an existing chain-link fence enclosure that surrounds existing irrigation equipment at this location. 2. Approximately 980 linear feet of underground 6-inch water pipe from the existing irrigation well location to existing underground irrigation pipe at the intersection of Center Drive and Gibson Avenue. 3. Installation of a double check backflow assembly on the Building 6 fire riser. 4. Replacement of underground irrigation underground wiring in Zones 1, 2, 3 & 4. This is a direct-buried 2-wire system that will be installed in a 2-inch wide by 9-inch deep trench. 5. Replacement of 166 existing irrigation valves and installation of 7 new irrigation valves. 6. Installation of irrigation controllers in the electrical rooms of Buildings 17, 84 and 107, and the proposed Conex Building. Contract Time: 60 calendar days. Liquidated Damages: $580.00 per day. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project.
