Only bids presented on documents prepared by the engineering department will be accepted. Tenders must be presented in an envelope identified with the identification label and must comply with the required procedure as described in article 2 "Compliance" of the general administrative clauses. Bids will be valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days. Some projects receive financial assistance under various subsidy programs (TECQ, MCC or others). The City reserves the right to grant the contract conditional on the availability of the required funds, either by the approval and entry into force of a loan by-law providing for the execution of the mandate and the work or otherwise. The City may, if it is advantageous for it to do so, disregard any lack of conformity of the tender if this lack does not break the rule of equality between all tenderers and it is not required to justify acceptance or rejection of any submission. Furthermore, the City may accept a bid in whole or in part or reject all the bids received. In addition, the City incurs no liability for the fact that written notices or any documents conveyed by electronic system are incomplete or contain any error or omission whatsoever. Consequently, any tenderer must make sure, before tendering, to obtain all the documents related to this call for tenders. The City does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received.
