Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Peru, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work generally includes construction of gravity sewers, manholes, manhole rehabilitation, site restoration work, and miscellaneous improvements. Work included: Provide all cast-in-place concrete sidewalks and curbing, complete, in place, as indicated on the Drawings, specified herein, and needed for a complete and proper installation. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: 1. Excavation and filling to prepare base for concrete placement. 2. Concrete Sidewalks. 3. Concrete Curbing. 4. Site restoration. 5. Excludes Structural Concrete 6. Excludes Structures Bidding Documents can also be viewed at the Office of the Engineer. Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms and in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Contractor's bids are irrevocable for a period of (45) days after submission. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. It is the policy of the Owner to encourage disadvantaged business enterprises, including minority and women business participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. Additionally, all Bidders shall comply with the NYS Environmental Facilities Corporation Program Requirements and Bid Packet for Construction Contracts Effective October 1, 2020. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. The de minimis, minor components, and pig iron waivers apply to this contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
