Renovation of a residential development in Texas City, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Texas City Housing Authority (TCHA) is requesting qualified bidders to submit bids for re-placement of exterior soffit materials and components. The project consists of the partial renovation of 25 Duplex's totaling 50 Living Units. The units consist of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bed-room and 4 bedroom units. Project Identification: Scattered Housing Soffit Replacements R110117. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. shall fully complete the Work within 175 calendar days after each unit is vacated.
