F&F Construction Co., Inc. has been selected as the General Contractor / Construction Manager by the West Memphis Arkansas School District, for an Addition to the Band Room, at the West Memphis Senior High School, 501 West Broadway, West Memphis, Arkansas Trade Package 1: Selective Demolition shall be responsible for all building related, demolition and shall not include demolition of Sidewalks, drainage structures, curb and gutter, HVAC Pad, or wall. See the attached Asbestos report. See 1/A1.1 and all demolition notesfor extent of demolition. Demolition contractor will erect a temporary dust barrier of wood framing, studs and osb as shown in the attached sketch. Barrier will remain in place for the duration of the project. Trade Package 2: Earth Work and Grading shall be responsible for all exterior site related demolition including but not limited to Sidewalks, Light Pole Base, HVAC Pad and Screen Wall, Drainage Structure. See C-1 THRU C-5. Trade Package 4: Masonry and Solid Concrete Cast Stone; refer to plan detail 2/A5.1. The new CMU walls are non-load bearing walls. Provide Epoxy Dowelling into existing slab to reinforce the new CMU walls w/#5 bars @48" o.c. vertically, with 2 1/2 " embedment and, (1) #5 horizontal bar @4'-0" o.c. (1) #5 horizontally in bond beam. Trade Package 5: Metals, the new RTU's can be located in the same location as the existing units. Steel Support angles to support the new roof curbs, will be required on all (4) four sides of the openings where none are present. Trade Package 23: Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning. Shall be responsible for all demolition of existing mechanical equipment and accessories. Refer to 1/M101 and Demolition notes for extent of Mechanical Equipment Demolition interior and exterior.
