The project is generally described as rehabilitation of the existing 150,000-gallon elevated water storage tank on Wilson Road, modifications to existing valve vaults and replacement of the existing site fencing. Bids must be submitted on the designated Bid Form, completed in ink or typed and signed by an authorized representative. Envelopes containing bids shall be in a sealed envelope marked Wilson Road Water Tank Rehabiliation IFB #22-001 and a valid Virginia Contractor's License Number must be printed clearly on the sealed envelope. Failure to comply with all instructions may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Withdrawal of bids due to error shall be subject to and in accordance with Section 2.2-4330 of the Code of Virginia and the Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive minor non-substantive errors in the bid, to reject any/or all bids, to award any bid in whole or in part and award the bid considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder should bid exceed available funds.
