Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Gilman, Iowa. Working plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The construction of a bath and shower house, installation of 16 campground sites with water and electric hookups with 2 being ADA accessible, construction of a leach field and dump station, and installation of a new gravel road connecting the campground to the bath and shower house. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price at the time of contract execution Each successful bidder will be required to furnish a corporate surety bond in an amount equal to 100% of its contract price. Said bond shall be issued by a responsible surety approved by Marshall County Conservation Board and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all material and labor, and protect and save harmless the Marshall County Conservation Board from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the contract and shall also guarantee the maintenance of the improvement caused by failures in materials and construction for a period of two (2) years from the date of final acceptance of the work under the Contract. The work under the contract may actively commence within ten (10) days upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed, which will be issued following the scheduling of a PreConstruction Meeting tentatively held in March of 2024and the project shall be substantially completed by October 31, 2024
