Renovation of an educational facility in Rantoul, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Rantoul Twp. High School Dist. #193, Rantoul, Illinois will receive bids for the project captioned below. The scope of work consists of providing four new gas fired roof mounted heating/cooling units with new painted metal spiral duct. Prevailing wages in accordance with Champaign County is required. Bid security is required, in the form ofabid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid as guarantee that the bid will not be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of opening ofbids, and that the successful bidder will enter into a Contract for the work awarded to them. Bid security shall be made payable to Rantoul Twp. High School Dist. #193. Bonds are required: Both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Payment Bond are required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favor able to the owner. Award of a contract is anticipated to occur at the March, 2022 meeting of the Board of Education. Begin construction on May 31, 2022. The Work shall be Substantially Complete on or before August 5, 2022 with final completion on or before August 19, 2022.
