Renovation of an educational facility in Rock Island, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cash in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to the Board of Education - Rock Island - Milan School District 41. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the District. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. Bidder must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. 1. Construction Start: Monday, June 6, 2022, pending snow days. 2. Substantial Completion: Friday, July 29, 2022. 3. Final Completion for the entire project is Tuesday, August 02, 2022.
