One year with the possibility of 4 one year extensions with no change to terms or conditions with original contract The Board of Contract & Supply, as the duly formed representative of the City of Binghamton, has the right to reject any or all bids if such action is in the best interest of the City. An irregular or informal bid may also be rejected. In case of default by the contractor, the City may procure the articles, services or material from other sources and hold the contractor responsible for any excess in cost occasioned thereby. The City of Binghamton will not be responsible in any manner for verbal answers to any inquires regarding the meaning of the specifications which may be given prior to the awarding of the contract. 5. Award of this contract will be made to the lowest responsible bidder who's proposal complies with all the provisions required to render it formal and legal and whose record of performance with the City has been satisfactory. 6. The equipment being bid shall be a current model and shall be a make and model which now is in production. 7. A copy of the factory specifications for the units offered shall be attached to the proposal sheet at time of submission of bid.
