This Statement of work is to perform wildlife opening and trail maintenance on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (CNNF). The results of the activity will be promoting/maintaining an open vegetative condition used by wildlife on established forest opening across the CNNF. This work will be bid in four parts with each part being awarded separately. This project is part of the Good Neighbor Authority (GNA). The four parts include: Part #1 - Eagle River - Florence & Lakewood- Laona Ranger Districts All sites are in Forest County. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for treatment of invasive brush and other undesirable vegetation on 36.3 acres of openings and 2.96 miles of Hunter Hiking Trails. This involves stands located in Part #2 - Eagle River - Florence Ranger District. All sites are located in Florence County. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for treatment of invasive brush and other undesirable vegetation on 31.9 acres of openings and .4 miles of Hunter Hiking Trails. Part #3 - Lakewood - Laona Ranger District All sites are located in Forest County. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for treatment of invasive brush and other undesirable vegetation on 54.8 acres of openings and 23.78 miles of Hunter Hiking Trails. Part #4 - Lakewood - Laona Ranger District. All sites are located in Forest and Oconto Counties. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for treatment of invasive brush and other undesirable vegetation on 44.4 acres of openings and 28.58 miles of Hunter Hiking Trails.
