The term of this contract will be for an initial period of one year, from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023, with two (2) optional one-year extensions, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15 for Wrightstown MUA Sewage Treatment Plant. All technical inquiries shall be addressed to Andrew Knapp, Plant Manager of WMUA (609) 817-3125. Subject to the limitations prescribed by the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq., the Wrightstown MUA reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities as may be permitted by law. The Prevailing Wage Acts, P.L. 1963, C. 150 as amended by P.L. 2019 C.158, shall apply to this proposal, and all bidders shall be required to comply with the requirements thereof. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975 Chapter 127 regarding affirmative action regulations and P.L. 1977, C. 33, as amended by P.L. 2016, C.43, Statement of Ownership Disclosure. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Non mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on April 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Wrightstown Borough Municipal Building, Attention Kittina Wallrath, WMUA Secretary, 21 Saylors Pond Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Bids are to be submitted on the standard forms provided. Enclose bids in a sealed envelope, identified on the outside with name and address of the bidder and the project name, Contract # TBD Liquid Sludge Disposal Service. Bids shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or acceptable Bid Bond made payable to The Wrightstown MUA, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, as a security, for fulfillment of the Bidder's promises, to be retained by the Wrightstown MUA, in the event of failure of the successful bidder to execute the Contract Documents within ten (10) days after award, or to furnish the required bonds and insurance certificates. All bids must be delivered on or before the hour named. No bid will be accepted after the date and hour specified.
