**As of April 7, 2022, this project has been awarded to The Kennedy Company of Va. Inc. and no awarded amount available.** The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to replace two (2) span lock hatches on the South Movable Span of the West Bound Berkley Bridge. The Berkley Bridge is a double leaf rolling bascule span movable bridge crossing the eastern branch of the Elizabeth River located on I-264 in Norfolk, Virginia. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Desiree Jarrell at Desiree.Jarrell@VDOT.Virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, March 11, 2022. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From Date of Award through six (6) months.
