Site work for a water / sewer project in Savannah, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work described at this Section of the Detailed Specifications consists of the furnishing of all materials and equipment and performing all labor and services necessary for the complete installation and closure of one test borehole. The City of Savannah has identified two potential locations for a new Raw Water Well as shown on the attached exhibits at the end of the specifications. The contractor shall install and evaluate a test borehole at location "1". If favorable results are found, the borehole shall be properly closed and all required information provided to the engineer. If the data is NOT favorable, the contractor shall move to location "2" and install, evaluate, and close an additional test borehole. For information purposes only, some information on the existing wells and locations is included at the end of the detailed specifications.
