The project will consist of the synthetic turf base, synthetic turf and installation. Bid to include all turf and infill materials. Bidder to provide all materials and equipment necessary for installation. o Bidder to demo and excavate existing topsoil and vegetation 8" - 12" deep and remove the existing vegetation and soils to a location on campus. o Bidder to sub grade at +/-1/2", laser grade to specifications and roll to compact. o Bidder to supply and install the pressure treated 2x4 nailer board to the existing curb inside the track to secure the turf. o Bidder to install and connect the 10" perimeter drain and tie into the existing field drainage grates. o Bidder to install the geo-textile fabric liner on the subgrade to provide a barrier between the stone and soil. o Bidder to install, laser grade, spread, and compact 4" of washed #57 crushed limestone for the drainage base material as well as a 2" layer of #89 stone. o Bidder to install approved Shaw synthetic turf system approximately 99,000 sq. ft. Shaw-Legion HP 2.0 synthetic turf.
