Webb County is seeking to solicit formal Requests for Proposals (RFP) for the purpose of selecting a Contractor interested in the installation of Heating, Ventilation and Cooling (HVAC) System Upgrades to both the Justice of the Peace Office building and the Casa Ortiz property in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 262.030. Question Cutoff Date 3/10/2022 5:00 pm CT Install AC equipment and ductwork as shown on the contract documents. Refer to drawings for schedule of equipment that will be installed. After installing equipment, connect power to unit. HVAC: Provide all materials and labor associated with a complete operational installation of new HVAC systems including, but not limited to: - DX Split & Roof Top Air Conditioning Units - Sheet metal, Ductwork - Air Test and Balance Bidders must submit with their bid proposal a bid security for five (5%) percent of total bid amount and must be executed with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas. Bid security is required in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 262.032 (Bid or Performance Bond; Payment under Contract). All Bids formally received by the Purchasing Agent in accordance with the schedule attached herein are irrevocable and cannot be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days following the date scheduled for the opening of the Bid(s).
